Signing up provides you with a study guide, and access to six 15 minute videos, one for each session.
These videos, led by course creator Ian Donald, use an interview format to introduce their topic and present questions for your group to discuss.
 
Accessible to everyone
The format has been designed with house groups in mind, but could also be used in a church setting, or more personally at home.
The course is completely free to access and use — all you need to do is create an account.

					  What do we mean by ageing?It is not easy to face up to your own ageing. Here we start to think about what ageing means, or has meant, to you. Though we like to pretend otherwise, life tells the real story.

					  Discovering God's purpose for your ageingWhat might God require of us in our old age? We explore biblical themes to see how God is changing us through times of testing and times of fruitfulness.

					  Praying for healing in the frailty of old ageWe explore the changing perspectives on healing and healthcare when we are living with frailty. Is this sharing in Christ’s sufferings, and how might God redeem such times?

About the course creator
 
Dr Ian Donald
Dr Ian Donald is a retired Consultant Physician in Geriatrics and worked at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for over 30 years. His concern is that we should all be honest in facing the prospect of ageing which brings opportunities and challenges. Since retiring, he has been a Trustee with Gloucester Charities Trust, Age UK Gloucestershire, and Harnhill Christian Healing Centre in Cirencester.
His book With a Light Touch: A Guide to Healthcare in Frailty, was published by Onwards and Upwards in 2021. Ian is married to Philippa, a retired priest in the Church of England, and they have three sons and three grand-daughters. His other loves are music, organ-playing, golf and -more recently – jigsaws!
